How to Register

New to Rebels? Welcome. Signing up takes three steps, and we walk you through each one below. No experience needed, no tryouts, no cuts. Most of our players started having never touched a rugby ball.

Your first two sessions are free, so you can see if it's a fit before you commit to anything.

Step 1 — REGISTER WITH THE CITY OF ROSWELL

Rebels practices and plays on City of Roswell fields, so every player first registers through the City's recreation system. This is where you'll select your child's age group and pay the City program fee.

A note on our coed listings: The City of Roswell lists all our programs as coed, and that's accurate for registration. On the field, here's how it actually works:

• U8, U10, U12 train and play coed, girls and boys together.

• U14 is often true coed, girls and boys on the same side. Placement depends on skill, experience, and size, always with player safety first. Coaches make the call together with families.

• High school (U16 and U19) registers under one coed listing, but the girls and boys train and compete as separate teams, each with their own coaching staff.

Step 2 — REGISTER WITH REBELS RUGBY

Next, you'll complete your Rebels club registration. This covers coaching, team operations, and everything that makes the season run.

Step 3 — REGISTER WITH USA RUGBY

Every player registers with USA Rugby, our national governing body, through the Rugby Xplorer portal. This membership is required to play in sanctioned matches and includes accident insurance coverage for practices and games.

How you'll know it worked: registration is only complete once your player has a valid USA Rugby ID number assigned to their profile. It's a 7-digit number shown on their account. No ID number yet means the registration isn't finished, so check for it before you consider this step done.

One detail we're finalizing: the exact club and age-group selection to choose inside Rugby Xplorer. We want every player in the right listing, so we're confirming that now and will post step-by-step instructions here shortly. Choosing before we confirm can put your player in the wrong group. That's it! Once all three are done, your child is ready for the pitch. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at Roswell Area Park. Exact fields can change, so once you're registered your player joins TeamSnap, where you'll get match schedules, field assignments, and direct updates from the coaching staff.
